Congressman Peter DeFazio is highlighting clean energy priorities in President Biden’s American Jobs Plan and federal infrastructure bill.

“We’re headed toward electric semis in the very near future, and there’s no place to charge them in America,” DeFazio says, “so a major component of the bill is electrifying the national highway network. The vehicles are coming. The country isn’t prepared to accomodate them right now. We have to build the charging stations.”
