The first pilot Volvo VNR Electric is going into operation at Volvo Trucks North America dealership TEC Equipment in Fontana, California. TEC Equipment will utilize the truck, which produces zero tailpipe emissions, for local parts distribution between its Fontana and La Mirada dealerships. The TEC Fontana dealership has two 50 kW chargers inside their truck maintenance bays, as well as a 150 kW charger located outside to enable fleet customers to fast charge at the dealership.
